Today in the computer lab you will go to ExploreLearning.com and complete the period of a pendulum gizmo and lab sheet.
Go to EdHeads.org and click on the Simple Machines link. Print out the test and complete it as you are using the web site.
Notice how EdHeads.org has other featured activities. I highly recommend the virtual hip replacement and knee surgery. Explore those links as well.
When you are finished you can go to DE Science and login as a student. You now have access to this great resource of science videos. We will be getting headphones for the computer lab after Fall Break. To login you will use your first name and last initial. Here’s an example: Sally Smith Johnson will login using the username sallys.student and the password for everyone is lobos. Check it out, you can access this site from any computer with internet access. We’ll use it in class after Fall Break.
