1. search for and watch video segment from “Daily Planet: Physical Properties” “Experimenting with Buoyancy and Density: Ice, Boats, and Flotation (02:49)”
2. watch entire video “Daily Planet: Physical Properties”
3. go to Liquids and Volume
4. go to Volume Quiz
5. go to Triple Beam Balance
6. login to Explore Learning and complete the first density gizmo. Answer the questions and “check your answers” when you are confident you are correct. Show your work.
Darwins:
1. search for and watch entire video “Daily Planet: Physical Properties”
2. go to Liquids and Volume
3. go to Volume Quiz
4. go to Triple Beam Balance
5. login to Explore Learning and complete the first 3 density gizmos. Answer the questions and “check your answers” when you are confident you are correct. Show your work.
Newtons:
1. search for and watch entire video “Daily Planet: Physical Properties”

5. login to Explore Learning and complete up to 5 density gizmos. Answer the questions and “check your answers” when you are confident you are correct. Show your work.

Introduction to Matter
Today in the computer lab you will go to DE Science. Enter your username and password in the Student Login form. Your username is your first name and last initial then .student. Your password is lobos.
Click on the link for Introduction to Matter part II and read the directions. You will need to click on the links for each assignment in part 3.
Next, go back to the Student Center, and click on the Interactive Periodic Table. Click on your group name here: Einsteins, Darwins, Newtons.
Print the assignment and complete it using the periodic table. If the Interactive Periodic Table doesn’t work, search the website for periodic table and watch the video.
When you are finished you may search the Discovery Education website for any video you are interested in. After that you may go back to EdHeads.org and perform surgery.

- complete the quiz, print it out, and turn it in for credit
